Pulsar P1 - Tiffanys

Peter Wenzig notes, "First ever sold solid-state watch. This watch was developed and produced by Hamilton. This particular watch was sold by Tiffany (see inscription), produced in November 1972. Hamilton won the race for the first launched solid state watch against BWC/Optel, due to a lot of troubles in the development of the first LCD watch. Unfortunately also the Hamilton Pulsar did not work well, and probably all of the watches had to be repaired by Hamilton, by replacing the original module with a more robust one."
