Nixie Tube Watch By David Forbes

For quite some time now, electronic designer David Forbes has been offering some unique digital clock creations at his CathodeCorner.com website.  He's designed some Nixie Tube and Oscilloscope-style CRT clocks that are as much art as electronic devices. David has sold these to people and collectors looking for something extremely unique.

As for a wristwatch, David created a two-Nixie tube watch in the early part of 2002 and has had a working model for six months or so.  He's been kind enough to share some pictures below.

The tubes are 1/2" diameter, the digits are 1/2" tall.  The black watch is 1-3/8" wide x 2" tall x 7/8" thick. The copper watch is similar dimensions but sideways, as the battery is on the side instead of the
bottom.
