Hughes LED Calculator Watch
in Battlestar Galactica

In the 1980s, Battlestar Galactica was a science-fiction/space television show that was a bit thought provoking and always fun. The "TV-Gods" have brought the show back with a new cast and a new spin on the original show.  Oddly enough, the original show used the Hughes Aircraft-made calculator watch in several episodes.  Thanks to some BG fans, here are some stills showing the watch.  According to the fans, the first three photos are from the Lost Planet of the Gods episode. The last four shots (a countdown) is from the Gun On Ice Planet Zero. What I find interesting is that the original show used both case styles of the watch.  It's not possible to tell if they are Hughes OEM-style unbranded watches or those sold by Compuchron in the retail market.  (Since as far as I can tell, Hughes did not sell these watches direct to consumers except through their employee store.)
