This G-version is the latest in the twelve-5-9 series, using the base numbers 12, 5 & 9 to easily display the time. In this model there are 6 holes in the centre series instead of 5 - the extra hole is to balance the design & is used for visual effect during light displays. The design is simple & sharp, yet absolutely unique. Tokyo based designers Yasushi and Makoto were inspired by various architectural concepts around Tokyo and brought them together into this design."
